Have been in better Motel 6’s.
Basics there, adequate for the price. A little run down but mostly clean, except for the floor. Needed to wipe up a spill and napkin was black with dirt. Would not return.

Great service, and lovely town
This hotel was the best a great place to stay, and the front desk staff shy was outstanding at her job. If I ever get stuck in a snowstorm near madras again, I will hand down stay there again! Also during summer, the pool and hot tub are amazing. Plus, walking to eat is convenient.

Seedy
This place is awful. It gives Motel 6 a bad name. After viewing the room, we went out for dinner and spent as long as we could away from this place. We got up at 5:00 AM and left as quickly as possible. The place is old and run down and there has been little effort to keep it up. The walls were dirty and although the tub looked clean, the caulking was cracked and discoloured. Same with the sink. The sheets seemed clean but the mattress cover was stained. I didn’t want to investigate too closely. We didn’t open the fridge or microwave. Avoid if possible.

Best value in Madras, Oregon.
Motel 6 isn't known for luxury, and this hotel proved it. But it was the only hotel in town for under $150/night -on a Wednesday! Standard fare wood floors, tiny bathrooms, limited counter space, but they did have a small refrigerator. We've learned to be content with limitations when we choose to save money for a night.

Do not Stay here
The joys of Hotwire bookings. Just me traveling so I figured I didn't need fancy. Checked in. The desk person smiled at me funny when she gave me my keycard. Place has outside doors. Pulled into a spot in front of my room. Noticed the car next to me had flat tires. On the room to the left of me there was a cat in the window and an American flag. By the door to the room to the right of me there was three large clear bags of cans and bottles. When I got out of my car, two guys from the room on the right came out and watched me unload and move in. I sat down in the room. There was a weird smell. I kept hearing people all around talking. I did not feel safe I had this feeling that if I stayed I would not make it through the night. After 30 minutes I left. I was going to go into the office, but I noticed the neighbor guys in the lobby. I got in my car and drove an hour and half to the next town DO NOT STAY HERE.
