Kid / Family Friendly, Excellent Service, Excellent Value - 6 Stars
We came to Lincoln City somewhat unplanned- thus didn’t have reservations or really any sort of plan. Pulled into town at round 3am and the first place we stopped was full (chain type hotel.) The desk manager there recommended we try the Inn at Spanish Head. I’d like to drive back to Oregon to thank that guy - our experience was amazing. From the moment we drove into the property they treated us like Royalty. (I should include that we are a family of 5 - husband, wife, teenage boy, and two super-energetic 4yo twins). It’s an unusual place with more charm than you could hope for. When you enter from the street, you’re on the 9th floor, and sorta entering the least-attractive side. Each room is ocean view with floor to ceiling windows. The place is somewhat built on a cliff - and is 10 floors…deep? Take the elevator to floor 1 and you can walk out onto the beach. The in-house restaurant has wonderful service and an excellent food selection. There is more to this place than we had time to explore or fully enjoy. From what I’ve read, the hotel is comprised of individually owned condos, so each room is somewhat different, as the room pics would attest. I don’t recall what run number we had, but it was simple, eloquent, and beyond comfortable. I showed photos of our stay to a family friend who spent 30yrs in the military- his opinion was this place looks more like a European beachfront spa than something you’d find in Oregon…and our govt has sent him about anywhere you could imagine! From desk folks to restaurant employees, and especially the valet/bell hop guy who shared he’s been there doing that job 20 or more years and seems to very genuinely love his job, I’d give the place six stars if I could. We will be back!! Oh - one last thing; in some reviews I saw folks grumbling about the unusual parking situation…Parking lot is on the OTHER side of the highway, so they have a tunnel UNDER the highway right to their front door. It’s a super quick-easy walk - or the valet will happily bring your car up to the front door - just call the front desk before you leave your room and he’ll have it for you…I saw no reason to complain. We will be back!!

Beautiful Location Room not so much
Booked a room is was supposed to have a bar and King size bed along with a murphy bed a place to sit and work and enjoy the view. What we got was a cracker box of a room with literally no place to sit but a tiny table and no power outlets. When we booked the room we said we need the larger room and wanted it on the first floor. No phone service, No internet service and we were there to finish working on a book which we told them when we booked. It needs serious updating. The stairs to the beach are treacherous to say the least. We frequently visit the coast for weekends and such and unfortunately we are taking this off of our list of places to visit in the future.

On the beach
Great location, wonderful interaction with every staff member we encountered. Interesting lay out with lobby on the 9th floor! We stayed on the 2nd floor just above the beach❤️ the restaurant fare is highly recommended with yummy cocktails.loved listening to the waves all night. Definitely coming back

Horrible experience
My opinion. Review of portly/overweight female restaurant manager only. Last night, I went with friends to the bar on the 10th floor. Luis, our bartender, was fabulous and treated us like royalty. We liked the atmosphere, we made reservations at the restaurant for tonight. The server, Manuel, was very nice and the food was good. We were eating mindfully, and enjoying the remainder of our wine. The overweight manager walked over and said loud enough for all tables to hear; “we are eyeballing you and your table.” Inferring for us to leave; I thought she was kidding at first., but she repeated it sternly. I paid over $100 to be ridiculed in front of my friends; I was embarrassed. When we walked out, the table next to mine said the manager should be fired for embarrassing us like that. In fact, they sat down only 10 minutes after us and they still had a good 20 minutes of meal and wine left. Will not patronize her establishment again! Avoid!

Labor Day Weekend 2022
I stayed at this place over Labor Day Weekend and just yesterday, I noticed an additional $200 charge to my card. I was not informed that this would happen, nor was I contacted about it. The manager at the facility just decided to do it. I contacted the facility and left multiple messages for the manager, none of which were responded to, so I went over her head to her accounting department. I am waiting for resolution from them, but this is tantamount to theft. I was told I was being charged for having a pet in my room. I do not have a pet nor would I bring one (if I did have one) on a romantic getaway with my lovely lady. No turn down service. Overpriced food and they had us make reservations for their mostly empty restaurant, which took over an hour to get us our order. I would highly recommend avoiding this place and for damn sure do not give them a card to secure your room. They will just charge you whatever they want. 0 stars. AVOID!!!!
