August 31, 2025N PDrawbacks didn’t outweigh the good, for me
The good: if the staff messes up they help you, and apologize. The room is spacious with comfortable bed with nice linen and pillows. There is a nice kitchen. Parking is free. The bad: the room smells weird - a combination of smoke, and pine I guess. I never got used to it. The walls and ceiling are thin. My upstairs neighbors were gymnasts running vault until midnight. I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water , and the sink as well! The bed was nice and spacious , the kitchen was clean and the room had nice mirrors to see your full fit , it was a great experience. Will definitely be staying again if im in town!

Great stay, safe with good amenities
We drive between San Francisco and Portland 6 times a year. Because of graduations, our usual hotel was significantly higher than usual. I had never stayed at a Homewood Suites and was very pleasantly surprised PROS friendly welcoming front desk Clean rooms Nice bed linens HUGE rooms with full size frig, microwave Decent breakfast - waffles, sausages, potatoes, eggs and the usual cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. Plenty of choices Enough parking at night for all guest Felt very safe. Some of the Medford hotels have made me uncomfortable. This Homewood Suites location felt totally safe. Close to freeway but no freeway noise This hotel was renovated in 2020 and still feels very fresh and new. CONS for some odd reason, the shower pans and shower frames are not holding up well and look bad and damaged. No sure why everything else in the room, including light fixtres and stone counters look great but shower pan does not

Five Star for Sure
Very happy with this place. Stayed there twice on our way down to southern California for just one night. I emailed manager Marissa for confirmation that my special requests would be taken care of and the whole team was on it. The room was spacious and well set up. Great water pressure in the shower, too! We needed a full size fridge which was another selling point in making this choice. And hot water was available 24/7 in the lobby, which was also appreciated. Would definitely, definitely, stay there again on our next trip south.

I give this stay 4 stars on account of the location, close to the highway, plenty of complimentary parking onsite and ample restaurants and supermarkets given the suite had a kitchen for preparing your own meals if you wished. The one bedroom suites are big and comfortable and provide nice separate spaces. Areas of improvement, breakfast options did not have much variety, pretty much the same everyday, as well as the manager's Wednesday special, pretty plain, soup or basic salad although there was free beer and wine.
