Free parking, clean rooms, good beds, quiet. Dave and Jenn at the front desk are extremely helpful. The free breakfast is out of this world with eggs, sausage, coffee, cereal etc. It is prepared by Rebecca and Laela. There is a good grocery store and drug store across the street. The WIFI is reliable. The bar makes a good margarita.

I am writing this to help people make an informed decision when booking this location. Although I plan to stay here again, there were several issues with my previous stay. First, let me say, remember Eugene is a Duck Pond literally. So lots of flyies in the area, and it is a hot summer day when I am here. So when I came into my room, apparently housekeeping had left the doors to the waterview open, so there were at least 7-8 flies in the room. We had to kill flies for about an hour before we could settle in. Even after thinking we got them all, in the middle of the night, we heard there was one trapped. We blasted the AC to make the fly slow down, and this got em. Also, there were spiders in the room, I am guessing attracted to the flies for a meal. My recommendation to the hotel is to invest in safe, environmentally friendly pest control. First stop, please put screens on the sliding doors to help with this. Second, fairly new property, so there are still some plumbing issues, minor issues, we had to have the front desk come a plunge the toilet after just peeing. Next time, I am going to try and stay in one of the other buildings to see if that makes a difference. I stayed in the Hilyard next to the stream. With that being said, the desk staff and bar staff were amazing. The drink prepared for me was amazing. Everything else went smoothly, and I plan to stay here again. I will say that when I brought the concern up to Emily at the front desk, she was so kind and understanding. She also discounted my first night, which is fair.

Clean and Comfortable Stay
I stayed at the Hayward Inn in November 2024 and March 2025 and both times were very comfortable and nice. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The beds are comfortable and I didn't feel like they were gross. The showers had good water pressure and were also clean. I would stay here for work again!

Great Option for Eugene Stay
This hotel is a stone's throw away from the University of Oregon campus......great for visiting your student enrolled there. The hotel itself is new, clean, fresh and modern. The room was spacious for the two of us with all the amenities we could ever want - safe, refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs, great shower, hairdryer, and fairly comfortable bed. Standing out was the buffet breakfast - lots of options and good quality for a hotel buffet. Oh, and the price was excellent when comparing this hotel to similar others!

Don't stay here they will change the prices when you check out. As you can see my book price was 257 after tax. I came in paid and got my room keys was charged 30 for a deposit. Which is fine and my total was 287. I also got snacks which was around 40. So when I checked out I should've only owed 10$. These people raised my total price $411. Pictures for reference
