Nickel and dime parking fee $12.
I have stayed here so many times I don’t even check other hotels. A good Hampton in a good location. Consistent. However they recently added a garbage fee for parking at $12 per day. Yes it was buried in the reservation when I went back and looked. Other hotels in the area are doing this now. I appreciate being up front and expect this behavior from some hotels but not a Hampton with a surface lot with no deck or scarce parking. This is a cash grab, a way to make the room rate appear $12 cheaper than it really is. I come here often. Fortunately there are plenty of other hotels around that don’t nickel and dime. I will reward them for their good behavior even if I have to pay more. Hampton Bend, if you read this and decide to change your ways, let me know.

A Quick Overnight in Bend
The absolute best thing about this hotel is the location. You are by the river, near the Amphitheater, close to shopping and dining options. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, and the staff were all very polite. Overall a nice place to stay. Downsides: the parking is limited. The room was clean, but needed some TLC. Quite a bit of wear and tear showing. The breakfast options were standard, but one tip: forget the lemon pepper on the potatoes. Too much of a powerful spice for a breakfast offering. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family based on location and the pleasant staff.

Disappointed - Ridiculous additional $12.00 parking fee!
We've been staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in bend for years and have had nothing but great experiences due to the proximity to the hayden holmes amphitheater. Unfortunately, now they are charging a $12 parking fee per vehicle per day. No matter your reason for staying there. Even after their price gauging during local events, paying $388 for a one night stay, that wasn't enough. They feel the need to tack on an additional parking fee. This is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary charge, I am beyond disappointed with the Hampton Inn & Suites in Bend, Oregon.

For the money....they are chintzy. No value!
Our three nite stay (wife and I) was approximtely $1,100. In my opinion alot of money. I am disapointed because after the first nite we asked for additional coffee packets for the in room coffee maker. We had used the two packets that were provided for regular coffee. They gave us coffee for ONE cup of coffee. Additionally, the linens were susposed to be changed as printed within the room for the third nite...they were not changed. Chintzy.

Great location
We stayed here as we were attending a concert at Hayden Homes Amphitheatre. It was a great location, just a few minutes walk - and best of all, not fighting traffic at the end of the show. That being send, on our second night there was another concert, and we could hear it until 10pm. So if you are staying here in the summer, be prepared for that. The breakfast was a little disappointing - no variation between the days, and the hot food offerings were rubbery omelets and fatty sausage slices and bacon. It is a short walk to the Old Mill District with all the shops and restaurants, and a short drive to downtown.
