Not up to Hampton standards
The room had poor lighting. There was a mini-fridge (no freezer) and a microwave. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well lit. The toilet was very low to the ground, and the toilet paper was placed behind the toilet. There was plenty of counter space, and the shower head was good. We had the usual Hampton breakfast, but the oatmeal was undercooked.

Horrible experience.
Horrible location. Felt unsafe. Homeless people wandering the parking lot looking in vehicles. Female manager unhelpful. Left the property without ever having stayed in the room. Manager still charged me for one night’s stay. Would never recommend this location.

WOMEN - RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
WOMEN - DO NOT STAY HERE! You are not safe, you will not be treated with dignity or even reasonable customer care. You will NOT be listened to at the front desk if you voice a concern (our room was overwhelmed with chemical cleaner - and no way to crack the window to let in fresh air). It won’t matter what level you’re on with your Hilton honors program, either so leave that notion in the car, turn around and go to Hilton Garden Inn Medford where they will treat you with professionalism and like they’re aware you paid for being there and it won’t feel like you threw down a fortune for what constitutes as a slight upgrade to a sleazy motel. If you have any questions or concerns about your room you will be treated with absolute contempt. NEVER AGAIN!

Clean but smell of marijuana in room
Room 322, 1 night The good: Clean overall, regular Hampton Inn feel, but on the smaller side. Nice indoor pool, quiet room with a view of another property pool. The bad: We sensed marijuana odor in our room only, hallways were well ventilated, no smell there. Weak shower pressure, and an idiotically placed shower caddy that can cut you if not careful. Advised staff upon checkout that we had the issue of odor in room. Overall a neat little inn, smaller than the usual Hampton Inn, I felt the Hampton Inn in Grants Pass a few minutes north is a better run hotel.

A Great Place to Stay
The Hampton Inn -Medford, OR has been our "go to" hotel in the Rogue Valley for many years. We are greeted as friends, and looked after by every member of the staff. Troy has been attentive and helpful. He has great customer care skills. Lynne is another long time employee who checks to make sure we have everything we need to make our stay easy.
