If you only want the basics, you will be satisfied here. There is of course not much option in Fossil. The room was large and comfortable. Any noise from outside ended by 9:00. Since the restaurant in town is closed on Sundays the rv park has a food truck. The menu is limited but the food is pretty good. The staff at the hotel is not fully professional but did their best and were most helpful and friendly.

Following a long hot drive in the middle of beautiful nowhere , we were given a lovely welcome from Madison. A small but lovely RV park. Told we could use the guestroom showers , including the fluffy white towels. What a treat this was ! We so appreciated. The introduction of a washer/ dryer for guests would make this place perfect. Thankyou . Your English guests were very happy ones !

The best of Fossil
We enjoy our yearly visits to Fossil & our stays at the Fossil Motel. Remodeling continues and it's nicer every time we visit! Room3 was completed recently and we were so impressed with the new EVERYTHING (Floors, paint, fixtures, furniture, bathroom, kitchenette) top to bottom. Great staff as always and very accomodating. Small town life at it's best here.

This motel has been remodeled and is clean and comfortable. Tim the owner was friendly and has put a lot of work into making it a nice place. There is a new restaurant a few blocks away that plans on expanding into a brew pub. It had good food. Cute little farm town with a small grocery store too.

Good value and comfy motel
The owner has renovated and updated the rooms. They are very nice. The office is being updated now. Rates were $75 for one person and $80 for two. The owner, Tim, is helpful and friendly. The AC, bathrooms and beds are all new. Very good value. There's a new restaurant 3 blocks down the street.
