Perfect location in downtown Bend. We were greeted with a smile while check-in. Manager answered our questions and let us know if there was anything we needed. Courteous and helpful staff. During buffet breakfast the kitchen manager helped me prepare waffle. That is a beyond call of duty. Thank you all for making our stay a memorable.

Crooks!
Fortunately, I only stayed here one night. The hotel looked fairly new, but there was a really stron mold smell in the bathroom sink. It got worse every time I used the sink. I reported this to the desk clerk at checkout. I never received an invoice, so imagine my surprise when I checked my credit card to find not only the room charge, but an additional $250 charge on my card with, again, no notice, no invoice, no explanation at all. A call to the hotel to ask about it, but nobody seemed to know, and there was no offer to refund me. I had to have the extra charge removed by my credit card company. After a couple of months, the hotel claimed I was smoking in there, said the room reaked of it. I'm 64 years old and have never been a smoker. I think they smelled the mold and didn't know what it was. Front desk staff never apologized for the discomfort that they surely already had to have known about. That mold smelled so strong, so it's been there for a very long time. Breakfast was just basic, no healthy choices available.

Great choice! Excellent!
I am a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member first. We stayed here over 4 years ago and were not impressed. My family decided to give it another try because of the PRICE. We usually stay at Residence Inn right down the road. Element is way too expensive so why not give it another try. There was an adequate breakfast bar. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! The place was perfectly clean and even though they were shorthanded because someone didn't show up, the staff was doing double duty all weekend. We needed maintenance because the TV was having issues. He came immediately on a Friday night and stayed until we were happy with his adjustments. My family used the lobby to play games as a group, no problem. We had a birthday party and the staff helped facilitate with what we needed. We lived in the hot tub and pool with our grand kids and had no problems with towels, ordering extra at the pool and in our room. I cannot recommend enough. THANK YOU GUYS for being so servant hearted!

The people make it special
Close to downtown, totally walkable. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast was unexpectedly great (I loved the crustless spinach quiche!) but the best part is the staff. Tammy and Seven were so friendly and helpful that I had to write a review. I love Bend and my next trip I will stay here again. Highly recommend!
