Stay if you have to
The room was clean but some lights burned out, paint missing and holes where pictures or lights had been removed, toilet paper holder broken off, worn and stained upholstery on chair. On the plus side, it was quiet and the continental breakfast was decent. Desk help was MIA when we checked in at 8 pm but very pleasant lady at checkout.

Not the best Choice Hotel, not really up to standards.
This hotel is pretty out dated and in need of face lift. It is in a handy location in town with a decent eatery saloon next door which was handy. The rooms are basic with no frills at all. At least they have added outlets on the bed stands for CPAP use. The breakfast was lacking in my opinion. The staff here were very nice though I will say that. A couple of young ladies I dealt with were good people. The beds are rather firm, pillows were good and the TV worked. Less than average coffee in the rooms.

Dirty, loud and overpriced.
This hotel has a bar next door. It sort of spills into the front hotel parking lot. You'll get 10% off if you go there. You may want to skip it. As we arrived, some locals were sitting in front loudly cussing each out and accusing each other of past beatings. Has the feeling of an outside meeting place for bad boy biker bands who have lost their day jobs. We were in a bottom story unit. Most likely entrance was through the back door. The lock is busted out so anyone ( and many do) wonder in. Hallway to the room smells of bug spray, cigs, musty, non-cleaning, etc. Room was not very clean. Exposed writing leading to the lamp on left side of bed. Very stained arm of sitting chairs. We were a bit scared to speculate on the source of the stains. Bathroom was decent. They recently put in new flooring which was nice upgrade. As we were unpacking, there were a few people outside of our window arguing and threatening each other. Beside them was a Honda SUV with ALL of the windows busted out. It apparently is the normal state for this vehicle as it was parked in the back Econolodge lot the next morning. We checked out a day early and gleefully paid more to sleep in a different city the next night. There isn't a lot of hotel/motel supply in this town so maybe you'll need to do the same and just make the 30 minute drive in. Employees (two females) where very polite and tried to be helpful. They were the bright spot during out mid September stay. They deserve a raise.

A nice room but too noisy to sleep.
A n8ce room, but we had to get the engineer to deal with the AC. He commented that it looked like the dial on the thermostat was on backwards. Fortunately there was a backup AC unit that did work. It seems the misinstalled dial was a long term issue that should have been fixed before. Then there was the noise. Right across the motel parking lot was a bar with a band outside - about 100 feet fron our window. It was a very loud band. They told me the band quit at 11 but it didn't quit till 11:30. By the time all the motorcycles left it was almost midnight. So if you have to stay here make sure your room is on the side of the side street.
