My partner and I were having a breakfast. A guy (oriental looking) came in and was picking up aome breakfast items from the breakfast place and the reception guy almost shouted at him, we don't allow this. The oriental guy apologised and put the breakfast food utem back and left. A few minutes later a Caucasian old woman finished her breakfast and before leaving she picked up a few breakfast food items. I approached the receptionist guy (named Owen) and asked her why he behaved differently with 2 different people in similar sotuation. He stated it was policy and when I asked for policy I was directed to a printed note at breakfast bar. He stated I didn't know but oriental guys came before and had breakfast and taken some food away. I told him it was unfair to treat 2 different people differently and it didn't matter as the oriental guy stayed in the hotel. I asked for the manager and the lady next to him stated she was a manager (Marna). I asked for policy but there was no statutory policy. I felt it eas unfair the way receptionist treated oriental guy. Will DEFINITELY not stay in the hotel again.

Super Noisy Because of Night Club Next Door
We stayed at the Days Inn in Bend on a Saturday night. The room was super clean and smelled nice. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was clean and included nice amenities including a blow dryer. We liked the shampoo, body wash and lotion. The towels were nice. The pool and hot tub were great. Front desk employee was amazing. Sufficient continental breakfast. The only problem, and it's not the motel's fault, was the fact that there is a nearby night club that played super loud music until 2AM, and we could not sleep because of the bass radiating through our room. Because of this, we will not be staying here again. I give the motel 5 stars, but the location 1 star because of our lack of sleep. Such a shame. I am not sure if the night club stays open that late during weekdays.

Won't stay here again
Not up to Wyndham quality. Valve in bathtub did not work, vinyl flooring is buckled, drywall repairs crudely done. Night manager was friendly and professional, but in the morning the desk clerk chewed out my husband for taking too much coffee. I don't know whether he was concerned about the cost or the inconvenience of having to make another pot, but when my husband brought the coffee upstairs to me, he was visibly shaken. When we returned our keys and checked out, he explained to the desk clerk that he was taking coffee for two people, and the clerk said he was just saying what the owner had told him to do. We went to McDonald's for breakfast and coffee rather than take a breakfast roll from the breakfast counter. We won't be staying here again.

Perfect for our need! Needed a place for just over a week to visit grandsons, fish, & see friends! We always love Bend! Days Inn was a helpful delight this time. First & # 1 was a great, friendly, & very helpful staff!! (Some of the nicest I have ever met, which to me reflects good management & team spirit!). We got a good price, didn’t expect a 5* experience but things were actually very well kept, maintained, organized, & clean. (Though of course a bit worn & dated.) I’d say the only 2 minor things are: 1) The control to switch from bath to shower is broken off & only the shower works but no big deal.; 2)Our first 3 days we had a bedspread on top of the bed over the blanket. Being from a warmer climate it was nice to have plus for sitting on during the day to watch tv, read, or relax. We asked for it back but our Mexican attendant didn’t understand. The manager came to our door & we clarified & she did understand what we wanted. But it never came or was replaced. We went without it for the final 6 days.
