Great night sleep.., easy comfortable stay…
We arrived at the hotel around 5:30pm & front desk lady was very accommodating. She honored all of our requests that we mentioned when we made this reservation. She was polite, professional & so were all other staff. Our room was clean & everything worked. Bed was comfortable with a very nice bedding. A few things in a bathroom could use some patching up, but it did not had a negative impact on our overall stay. Breakfast was a typical for the brand. Pool was a typical hotel’s pool & hot tub was really good. All in all, we had a truly comfortable stay & I hope it will be just as good the next time we stay there.

Management is not customer friendly.
I stayed at this motel the night of June 13. I charged the fee to my VISA card. After I got home the next day, I looked at my VISA account online and noticed that there were two identical charges of $196.12 for my one night stay at the Comfort Inn in Roseburg. I don't recall making two reservations for the same night at the same hotel, and I wouldn't have knowingly done so. I called the hotel and talked to the employee who answered the phone. He brought to my attention that there were two different confirmation numbers for the same night for me at this hotel. The hotel employee said he would consult with management, and that either he or management would get back to me. This evening I received a call from the same hotel employee. He told me that management woudn't provide a refund for the unintended second identical reservation because I didn't show up, and they couldn't make any money on the room because I didn't cancel before the reserved date. Yhis implies that they didn't or couldn't rent the room to someone else for that night. How could I cancel if I didn't know I made two reservations for the same night? Comfort Inn is part of the Choice Hotels group. I have been a member for many years and have stayed at Choice Hotels in many places. The decision by the Roseburg Comfort Inn management is, in my opinion, short sighted and customer unfriendly. In the future, I will not patronize any Choice Hotels.

Clean and comfortable
Stayed one night in standard room with 2 queen beds. Spacious. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Sink was located outside (rather than inside) the bathroom. Shower/tub combination. Breakfast was ok, other than the weak coffee. Seemed to be popular among government and private work crews in the area temporarily. Convenient to I-5.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Will not stay again. Not happy with the lack of response received after a terrible experience during our stay. After repeated attempts to get a response from management, I have no choose but to leave a bad review. Do not stay here. Do not support them

Overall a good place to stay if your just needing a place to sleep
Stayed for 2 nights while working in the area. The hotel was clean and fit my needs for a clean place to sleep. Shower was good with plenty of hot water. Towels are standard rough Comfort Inn towels. My only draw back to the room is that the bathroom is very small. You have to walk in beside the commode to shut the door. Breakfast was adequate to get the day started. Scrambled eggs and sausage. You could make waffles if you wished and an assortment of cereal and muffins. The apples and bananas were fresh. The guy tending the breakfast area was very efficient and friendly. The only strange thing was the phone had two flashing red lights on all the time. I asked the lady at the front desk and she said other had mentioned that and she had asked about it but couldn't remembered why it was doing that. Huh?? I ended up tossing a towel over the phone to block the lights.
