Astoria is famous for its 5-mile bridge, the longest continuous three-span through-truss in the world. This landmark is less than a mile from the Columbia Inn.
The Columbia Inn is near downtown Astoria, walking distance to restaurants, trolley and the Lewis & Clark shuttle.

The Columbia Inn was one of the worst place I have ever stayed in. Upon, entering their office I could barely breathe it reeked of animal urine extremely bad. The carpet I room #18 needs replaced it is ancient and filthy. Found rements of Marijuana in the seal on by the bathroom sink, popcorn kernels and other leftover food crumbs under the bed, flea or tick bites from the pillows or bed/bedding. On about the fourth day of my week stay here, someone takes upon themselves to enter the room and I was staying in and stoled my wallet ( a police report was made) I have worked with OSHA standards or years in my own field of work. Not pleased. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COLUMBIA INN
The rooms were average. The cost was higher than it was worth at the end of October. The noise from the traffic on the main road was not good if you are a light sleeper. The staff was very nice during the check in.
The hotel is a located along the main road, so there is a lot of traffic noise making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The young man that was on reception was not at all friendly. The room was dark, I found the beds uncomfortable, although the bedding was clean. The bathroom was small and needed proper cleaning. The whole property needs refurbishment and updating.
Place is great, I set my alarm for 0415 and I am usually the first person at the charter shop at 0455. Kari at the front desk is AWESOME! My trip got blown out last month so I had to come back and she only charged me for the night I stayed and moved the next night reservation to a month later. All with a smile. I will stay here next year for sure! Pete
This is a consistently nice motel with very good value for travelers. It's located near downtown and on the strip with fast food places, easy access on and off the hi way that goes through Astoria. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the staff helpful. I'll be sure to return.
