would use again
for a hundred dollars less per night we took the chance. Though a bit worn, adequate. Breakfast at the attached restaurant is included and far better than the buffet included at the chains. It was 100 degrees, and by taking down the rope in the pool laps were swum. The ac worked. No real complaints
Terrible Customer Service
My daughter and I made a trip back to Ontario because I still own a business there and I frequently make trips back to still be involved in my business and check on things. I have always stayed at the Clarion Inn. I have always enjoyed my stays. Last night, I booked my room and we got into town around 8pm-ish. I go in to check in and am told that my driver's license shows I'm a local, I haven't gotten a new one yet with our current address. I explain that to the girl at the front desk, she's not sure what to do, and she goes and gets another gal. This second one was rude, uncaring, and has some of the worst customer service I have had to deal with in a while. She tells me they can't book with locals. I explain I'm not a local anymore, I live over 7 hours away, which I just got done driving, I was tired, and just wanted a room for the 2 nights I was in town. She continues to refuse because my license says I live in Weiser. I have my daughter leave her dinner to bring her ID which shows our current address in Monmouth. Still, ZERO care. We have nowhere else to go at this point, they have already charged my room, and I have proof we aren't local... these girls didn't care. They are too worried about trying to show me who was in charge. I get these girls still get a paycheck whether I stay there or not, but if they are going to be dealing with the public they need A LOT more training in customer service. I would be embarrassed and disappointed if my employees treated any of my customers the way I was treated and the lack of empathy that was displayed by these 2 girls. There was no try to help me with my situation. I have stayed here every few months for the last year. My money will now be spent at the Sleep Inn when I come to town. They were more than happy to let me stay there and the guy greeted me with a smile and made sure to make me laugh before I walked away.
Not a bad place to stay
Stopped here for a one night stay on a cross country road trip. Found this place on trip advisor for a decent price and decided to book a night. Overall was a decent place to stay. There’s a lot of options for shopping and for food near by. Is also near the high way. The main cons are the place is pretty old and in need of an upgrade and the place was a little dirty. Over all though it’s a decent place to stay
Clean, good bed, showing its age a bit
This is a more than acceptable place to stay. It is clean, had a very comfy bed and the room was plenty roomy. There's plenty of amenities as well. Another plus is that there's a decent restaurant on site which is great if you don't want to go out for dinner after arriving. It is showing its age a bit though, walls need freshened up, carpet in places too.
Absolutely not worth the money. Very dirty. Pool not open until 10 AM when check out is at 11. We had a pet room and are very animal friendly but the room smelled so badly of urine it was difficult. Will definitely not be back.
