Cute motel
Cute motel, super friendly customer service, decent price and amenities like a sauna! A little road noise but it is what it is just bring ear plugs if your a light sleeper. For the price and cleanliness and great staff and yummy see see coffee in the morning we would stay again.

Good Value for Nicely Updated Old School Motel
This is an updated old school motel. As such, don’t expect elevators and big fancy lobbies. That said, it is a good value. Where can you find a room for under $100 these days that are up to date and clean. The bathrooms are functional albeit a little small. There are unique features like cord-cutting TV and an adult or non-alcohol libation at check-in. We stayed there on a Monday and it was quiet. I thought it might be a little noisy since the windows are single pain. Another reviewer said the HVAC was noisy but I thought it was quieter than most after I set the fan to low speed. Super helpful and pleasant staff both at check-in and check-out. We weren’t there long enough to try the pool and the hot tub looked empty of water.

Keep driving
We booked a 1st floor room when we originally booked because we have an old dog and he doesn’t do stairs well. When we arrived, we were given a second floor room, so it dog has to suffer. The chair in the room was missing a screw and when I sat In it, it went right over backwards. Thankfully I didn’t hit the wall. At 3am, the AC unit started squealing, so it had to be turned off. It was a bad experience all the way around. This is an old motel, that someone has thrown a coat of paint on. At first, it seems nice, but it wears off quickly after the first splash and it’s easy to see that it’s not well cared for. The foundation vents are broken out here and there. I’d hate to know what’s living underneath. Having done a little over 5,000 home inspections, I’d say it’s concerning.

Pleasantly surprised
Spent 2 nights while in town for an assembly at the convention center, which is only 5 minutes away. Also convenient to a few great and walkable restaurant choices within 2 blocks. This fun retro motel brings back pleasant childhood and family memories from decades ago - before the big cookie cutter chains. Our king bed room on the second floor was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very spacious bathroom, well-appointed with nice linens and towels. Shout out to Diego, the weekend night manager, who was so helpful and kind. The single pane windows did allow in some street noise, but for us that added to the throwback ambiance. If expecting the Ritz Carleton, you may not be satisfied. But if looking for a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, welcoming stay in Pendelton - this is your place. Would happily return.

OK Stay
We arrived late at the hotel. Megan who checked us in was wonderful and very welcoming and pleasant. The room was comfortable enough. Other ratings that we read had it as wonderful. I wouldn't go that far. The beds were comfortable enough. When we opened the door to the room, the cold hit us. The heater is old and was finnicky to manage. First of all, had to reset the plug in. Then, had to figure out how to get the heat to come out. We finally did, but not what we needed after spending 10 hours on the road. We left at 7:30 a.m. to travel enough 10 hour day. Coffee in the main lobby was not available until 8:00 and no coffee in the room. Overall, it was ok we never did get the heat to adjust properly.
