My family did an e-bike adventure in Maupin OR. it was amazing. Gear up Maupin has great bikes in excellent condition. Paula & Mac gave us great operating and safety instructions as some of us had never been on an e-bike or any bike for a long time. All of us are in our 60’s and early 70’s and it was very easy and comfortable. We rode about 17 miles round trip on the river view rd. We started about 5:00 and the weather was perfect, not very much traffic, the road is in good condition, and the river was beautiful. It makes us almost want to have e-bikes of our own. I would recommend Gear Up Maupin to anyone. Really fun with lasting memories for our family.
We had a great time renting e-bikes from Gear Up Maupin! Paula was great to work with on booking a good time and getting us set up with our bikes. Both my friend and I had never e-biked before and this was a great location to learn. Paula took the time to show up how to use the e-bike and took a spin with us so we could try them out. We followed the road along the Deschutes River and it was BEAUTIFUL! We felt like we had most of the river side and Maupin to ourselves as it was off-season. It was quiet, peaceful, and we lucked out with a perfect sunny day. We explored all the way to White River Falls State Park and back. We will definitely be back!
Renting an E-Bike is a fun inexpensive way to see the sites. GEAR UP MAUPIN dropped off my E-Bike within two hours of my web request. Fast service! Paula (Owner) provided a detailed map of places to see designed for those on bikes. I started off my ride to the local coffee roaster. Stopped in the Antique store. Cruised around the River watching the locals catch fish. If in Maupin … rent an E-Bike Gear Up Maupin earned ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am not one to leave very many reviews. However, I felt that I needed to for Gear Up Maupin. I had the pleasure of going on a couple of rides recently on two different occasions. Each time I rode a different Ebike. I really enjoyed riding, I haven't ridden a bike in years and was a little concerned about getting on a bike again. I have to say I am hooked on the Ebikes. Paula is great at picking out a bike for you and she goes out of her way to see that everything is pleasurable. The areas around Maupin that you can ride are absolutely beautiful. The first day I think I rode around 12 miles and the second time it was close to 16 miles. The two bikes that I rode were both very fun to ride, I'm not sure which one I liked the most. I am looking forward to going out again. If you are looking for a different adventure while you are in Maupin, I highly recommend Gear Up Maupin. It is a different way to enjoy the outdoors. There are so many places to ride in Maupin and so much scenery. You can take your fishing pole, a picnic lunch or a berry picking bucket. The options are endless. Try them out you won't be disappointed!!
