We loved this very clean, nice staff and unique location! They have a small bakery with freshly made scones that were delicious. Beautiful RV park and the location in the bay is beautiful. They even have crabbing and boat rents.
This is a nice, well maintained rv park. The staff is pleasant, although there really isn’t enough of them which I think is mostly because they can’t find anybody who wants to work. They have nice reasonably clean restrooms and laundry facilities although they really need more washers and dryers. They do have wifi but we didn’t use it so can’t comment on that. They rent boats and equipment and they do have a nice cleaning station if you catch fish or crabs and they will even cook your crabs for you for $1 each. The staff is very helpful if you don’t know where to go or don’t know all the rules. The park was not designed for big rigs or even medium sized rigs so you better be good at getting into tight spaces, the sites are very small with very little if any space to park your vehicle but they do have a place about a block down the street to park, so if your able and or don’t mind the hike. There are a few pull thru sites but its a little tricky getting in them because of the deep ditch, we saw one rv nearly turn over just getting out of the parking lot in front of the office because he got in that ditch and he ripped the end cap nearly off the back end of his 5th wheel. This is a very busy park, we were in the 3rd site from the office and there was constant activity so I certainly wouldn’t recommend that area, it is definitely not peaceful. If we are ever in this area again we would stay here but would ask to stay in the area at the far end of the park on the other side of the street, for one thing it isn’t as windy and cold and seems to not be as busy. We did have a few complaints: 1. They need a strictly enforced policy about where dogs are allowed to do their business and that should not be in other peoples spaces or on other peoples stuff or in or on the flower beds and pots and benches etc throughout the park. And they also need to put a stop to all the dog barking. 2. The staff constantly rides up and down the streets in the park in the very loud Kabota gator or whatever you call that thing, maybe an electric golf cart would be more appropriate. 3. No cable tv
First and foremost, the Staff at Netarts Bay RV was just wonderful! So helpful in the office; outside staff so patient with this challenged back-in babe! Great walking area for our dogs. And finally, so many interesting sights, hikes, and camera opportunities!
Spent 2 nights at Netarts Bay RV. Very pleasant. Spaces seemed a bit narrow, but we managed to get parked ok. Park is clean and well maintained. Site was fairly level. Park was full, but after 10 p.m. it was quiet. Internet is the only complaint. It is very basic and policy states "for checking email only". Not good if you have banking etc.We didn't need it, but longer stay may have required it. Great location by the bay. We would return.
We had always spent our time vacationing on the southern Oregon coast. Just for a change of scenery we decided to travel up to Tillamook and take in the scenery. Simply by chance we booked at Netarts Bay RV park and spent a week that was one of the most enjoyable we've had in the 30 plus years we have traveled on the Oregon coast. This is a very well maintained and friendly RV park. Give it a try.
