Another very pleasant night's stay!
We have previously stayed at this location on several work trips for multiple nights. This trip was just for one night with a pet. Familiar with the facility, we asked for first floor placement near the back door (and outside pet areas) and that request was accommodated. On arrival the room was clean, as you would expect. This is an older facility and in some areas is showing its age, but for the price it's still a good choice. They charge a per fee that seems like a large amount for one night ($25), but that appears to be the going rate everywhere we stayed. The room comes with complimentary drinks/food in the evening (not quite a meal, but close) and free breakfast. At 8:00 a.m., the hot breakfast was somewhat picked over, but the attending staff cheerfully cooked us fresh eggs to go with sausage and hash browns and a biscuit and gravy. Hot and cold cereal was also available as well as coffee and juice - self-serve. It was not a huge meal but certainly was an adequate and tasteful breakfast for the trip ahead. As was our previous experience, this facility serves a large traveling commercial workforce who are up early and gone. However, even on the first floor and next to an exit door, we were not disturbed. They were a courteous bunch. We met a friendly staff in a nice facility for what seems like a very reasonable cost considering the included food and drinks, and that made our stay very pleasant. If back in Hermiston, we will try and stay there again.

Clean Room-Distracting Issues
Clean Room. One night stay. It seemed and felt everything was clean. But some issues. The overhead light by the window, one of 2 of 3 bulbs flickered on and off fast. I could not use that light. The TV had rolling lines in it on every station and the sound was off. Found out they had not been replaced for 1 1/2 years. The blow dryer did not work. I tried 3 times. And the spa bookies like it hadn’t been clean for a while. Looked green in some areas. Didn’t take a chance on it. Pic attached. Pool looked clean. This is the 3rd Oxford suites that had issues that were distracting. Other 2 in California.

An oasis in the desert
An oasis in the desert. Clean, quiet, friendly, helpful. The only downfall is that we will likely never pass through Hermiston again. We would alter course for it though if we're in the vicinity. Thanks to all the staff especially Melissa. You're a champ.
