The Lofton Reservoir Campground is a popular fishing in a high forest setting (6,100′ elevation). Accommodations include 26 tent and trailer sites, picnic tables and fire grates, drinking water, a boat ramp, outhouses, a campground host, waste grey water dump, and an accessible fishing pier.
Activities include boating (electric motors only, and a 5 mph speed limit),
bird watching, wildlife viewing, fishing, swimming, picnicking and photography. Please pack out your garbage and gather your firewood, for camp use, nearby.
Directions: From Lakeview: Travel 25 miles west on Highway 140, and turn left on Forest Road 3715. Take Forest Road 3715 for 7 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 013. Continue on Forest Road 013 for 1 mile and you should see the campground entrance sign.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: May-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
