Cottonwood Creek Trailhead, at 5,280 feet elevation, accesses the Cottonwood Trail System which is open to hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bike riders. The trailhead is close to Cottonwood Meadows Lake
Accommodations include a parking area (adequate for trailer turnaround) and signed trail directions.

Activities offered include fishing, bird watching, wildlife viewing, wading, and photography.

Directions: From Lakeview: Travel west on Highway 140 for 11 miles, then turn right on County Road 2-20. Go on County Road 2-20 for 6 miles and it turns into Forest Road 3870. Take Forest Road 3870 for 3 miles, then turn right on Forest Road 014. Follow the signs on Forest Road 014 for 1 mile and you should see the parking area.

Seasonal Access: Normally Open: June-Mid-October (Trail and parking area maintained during these dates.)
