This is a winter cross country ski trail which is used primarily by mountain bikers during the summer to access other trails, especially Flagline Trail #41.

Note: Flagline Trail #41, between Flagline Access Trail #40.1 and Flagline Tie Trail #40.3, is closed to all use until August 15 each summer to protect Elk calving grounds. Nearby Three Sisters Wilderness to the west is closed to mountain bikes.

Directions: From Bend: Trail begins at Dutchman Sno-Park/Trailhead, 21 miles west of Bend on Century Drive. Northwest Forest Pass required.
