Devil’s Flat Campground is located 10 miles upstream from Galesville Reservoir on Cow Creek. Across the road from the campground is the old Devil’s Flat Guard Station. A 1915 era Ranger Cabin and horse barn are located there. The Cow Creek Falls Trail and the Devil’s Flat Trail begin at the Guard Station. This is a reduced service level campground. Please gather firewood only from dead and down litter to avoid damaging vegetation and leave a clean camp for the next visitor.
Facilities include 2 campsites with wooden tables, 1 Walk in picnic site
gravel surfaced roads and parking, 25′ length parking spurs, steel fireplaces with grills and barbeques, an accessible vault toilet and garbage containers.
Directions: From Azalea: Travel north on Interstate 5 to the Azalea exit and head east on County Road #36. Follow 36 for 17 miles to the campground.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: May-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited sevices available.)
