Mona Campground is located approximately 7 miles northeast of Blue River at an elevation of 1,360 feet. This campground has 23 sites with trailer space and fire rings. Potable water and toilets are available.
This popular, versatile recreation area was constructed in 1970 on the northwest shore of Blue River Reservoir. The campground is situated in a long, narrow strip of various hard and soft wood trees. The area is surrounded by steep slopes, many covered with virgin timber.
Directions: From Blue River: Travel 2 miles east on Hwy. 126 to Road 15. Proceed on Road 15 for 3 miles to Mona Campground.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: April-September (May be open offseason, but without managed services.)
