Approaching Ukiah, possible Prairie Falcon, Golden Eagle, Sandhill Crane, both Bluebirds. In Ukiah, turn right on Main St. then left on Camas. After crossing Camas Creek, turn left on Mossie Rd. and go 0.9 miles to Ukiah Sewage Treatment Lagoons: nesting Canada Goose, Redhead, N. Shoveler, Ruddy Duck, Cinnamon, Blue-winged, and Green-winged Teal. Surrounding area: Gray Partridge, Long-billed Curlew, possible Sage Thrasher, and in winter, N. Shrike and Bald Eagle. Returning to Highway 244, nesting Bobolinks are reliable in the field across from the Forest Service Building at the west edge of town.
