The Hood River County Library (built 1913) and Georgiana Smith Park are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The park?s grounds envelop the newly expanded, magnificent brick library building while lawn areas and benches on the park?s north side face downtown Hood River and offer stunning views of the Columbia River. Three different patio spaces are available for sitting, picnicking, or staging small music events and are all handicapped-accessible.
