Yachats Ocean Road provides beach access and opportunities for scenic driving, viewing coastal scenery, viewing marine wildlife, bird watching and viewing interpretive signs.

South of Yachats, the road makes a one-mile loop, exposing one of the most scenic viewpoints on the coast: the Yachats Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Park along the loop and enjoy access to the beach, tidepools, blowholes, summer sunsets and whale watching.

: The Oregon coast receives abundant rainfall, mostly between October and April. July and August bring the best chance for clear days. Summer temperatures are normally moderate and almost never hot. Winter temperatures are normally cool at the lower elevations and cold at the higher elevations. Although snow is possible in the lowest elevations, it is infrequent and does not stay on the ground for long.

Location: Yachats Ocean Road is located along the South Coast. South of Yachats, turn west on Yachats Ocean Road from U.S. Highway 101.
