Coquille Myrtle Grove offers visitors the opportunity to swim at the sandy beach, float the river in innertubes, and picnic.
Coquille Myrtle Grove will bring out the Huckleberry Finn in you. Located along the Powers Highway, this secluded swimming hole has a shaded myrtlewood grove near the parking area and a sandy beach along the Coquille River just a short way down the hill. Bring your innertube and float along with the river’s gentle current. There is no drinking water at this site.

: The Oregon coast receives abundant rainfall, mostly between October and April. July and August bring the best chance for clear days. Summer temperatures are normally moderate and almost never hot. Winter temperatures are normally cool at the lower elevations and cold at the higher elevations. Although snow is possible in the lowest elevations, it is infrequent.
Location: Coquil Myrtle Grove is located in the Southern Coast Region of Oregon. It is 14 miles south of Myrtle Point, off Oregon Highway 42.
