Lookout Point Lake is a popular recreation area offering year-round fishing, seasonal water skiing, sailing, swimming, picnicking and hunting. The area is also managed for wildlife habitat such as waterfowl, blacktail deer, upland game birds, wintering elk, bald eagles, osprey and many other species. This lake is popular for catching cutthroat and rainbow trout. There are two boat ramps, two picnic areas and hiking trails all managed by The Army Corp of Engineers.

: The climate in Oregon varies greatly by region. The coastal region and the regions west of the Cascade Range are generally temperate and wet. Temperatures in the western portion of the state rarely rise above 85 degrees F during the warmest months and rarely dip below freezing during the winter.
Location: Near Lowell and Fall Creek Reservoir, Lookout Point Lake is 22 miles southeast of Eugene, on Oregon hwy 58.
