On the corner of the old Oregon Trail (B avenue) and Gekeler in La Grande, this beautiful city park is sponsored by the Lions Club and includes an abstract pioneer memorial and a life size wrought iron pioneer play wagon. This was a camping and staging area for the Oregon Trail emigrants who had to combine teams to ascend the steep valley walls.
