The Venomous Reptile Museum, which opened to the public February 2012, features an array of live animals, including lizards, snakes and more. Learn about these beautiful, but deadly, creatures and the vital roles that play in nature and how they benefit humankind. Stop and shop at the House of Reptiles, a premier retail store devoted entirely to the sale and care of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Featured on numerous local TV shows and highlighted in Reptiles Magazine, the shop features more than 200 animals representing 100-plus different species, and provides informational sheets on a variety of related topics, as well as t-shirts, cards, books, toys and candy. The store is open Monday through Friday, 10am-7pm; Saturday, 10am-6pm; and Sunday 12-5pm. The museum opens daily at noon. Admission to the museum is $3, per person, ages 13+ (12 and under free and must be accompanied by an adult). Annual single and family passes also are available.
