Come run the Moon Tree Run race in Cave Junction this June.

The annual Moon Tree Run commemorates one of the six moon landings made during the Apollo missions in the 1960s. Stuart Roosa, former Siskiyou Smokejumper and the pilot of Apollo 14, carried Doug Fir tree seeds to the moon and on his return to earth the seeds were planted in several locations around the country. The trees that grew from them are now known as “Moon Trees.”
