Clay Creek Recreation Site

Overview:

Visitors love the quiet, sunny ambience of this remote campground along the Siuslaw River and not far from the Oregon Coast. Clay Creek has 21 overnight camping sites, two large day-use shelters, picnic areas, a ball field, vault toilets, and potable water covering this 10 acre site. The 2 mile Clay Creek Trail offers access to swimming opportunities along the Siuslaw River. There are also large group shelters reservable for events.

Know Before You Go:

Open Hours: the Day Use Area and Campground are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Make reservations by visiting recreation.gov.

There is no fee for day-use. Camping is $10 per site with a $5 fee for extra vehicles.

Pets are ALLOWED but must be LEASHED (max. 6 feet) in the parking lot. Please dispose all pet waste in trash receptacles.

On the way to Clay Creek Campground you will pass Whittaker Creek Campground, a BLM-managed recreation area with 31 campsites.
