Sandy River Delta

Sandy River Delta is a multi-use recreation area open to a variety of recreation uses including equestrian use, hiking, biking, and even hunting in the allowable area.

Within quick driving distance of Troutdale, Gresham and Portland, Sandy River Delta is a great place to get out and enjoy nature. The great views, extensive trail system, bird blind and easy mountain biking make this site a quick retreat from the city. 

Provides access to the Sandy River Delta Recreation Area trail system including Sandy River Delta Trail #4417.

Visitors need to have a day-use pass or an annual pass (Northwest Forest Pass or Federal Interagency Pass).

Walking a short distance from the parking area, you’ll find a number of trails including Boundary Trail, Confluence Trail, Meadow Trail, Ranch Dike Trail and Old Channel Trail. There are parking spots designed for vehicles with trailers.  Visitors in vehicles without trailers are asked to honor these spots and reserve them for trailers.

Dogs under voice control are welcome in the park. Be sure to be mindful of signs and leash your dog where it is required. Please note: Commercial dog walking is prohibited at Sandy River Delta.
