Since 1978, The Bay House has been much more than just a fine restaurant. Great food, attentive service, and a beautiful setting have always been their hallmarks.

Um rethink going here… over priced and arrogant!
Very disgusted with the meal. Ordered a filet was super dry waiter asked if was ok due to my leaving it on the plate. 2 of them diesected it in the corner confirmed it was dry proceeded to tell me that suggested they give my husband a free dessert. We got the bill and found after 528.00 they charged us for the dessert also. Dessert sucked and I will never recommend this place to anyone. Over priced and good service!

Best dinner ever!
Beautiful atmosphere. I do miss the old location on the bay but this was still extremely nice. The food and service are top notch. Steve is the best!!! He knows so much about wine and the entire menu. The Bay House is always our first place to eat when we visit the coast. Don’t miss it!!!!

Traditional and Stodgy
Very traditional “fine dining, “ but not worth the price. The service is impeccable and the ambience is fine, but so much food that feels forced in both presentation and portion size. We have dined all over the world at amazing restaurants, and as far as price for value goes, this is disappointing. Sigh…

An above and beyond dining experience
I expected a nice meal but I was definitely very impressed by the Bay House at Salishan. We had the 3 course menu and it was superlative. Very elevated cuisine from the amuse busche to the garnishes from the appetizer to the main course. The service was perfect and not intrusive. I had the stuffed baked dates and my husband had the pork belly as appetizers. Wow, both were out of this world delicious in different ways. Then came our salads which were very creative. My husband’s beet salad looked like cubes of filet mingnon but was beets. On to the main course, the fresh halibut, cooked to perfection with a brown butter sauce and garnished beautifully. Definitely dining at the Bay House was a highlight of our visit to the Central Oregon Coast.
