Driftwood Restaurant and Lounge has been serving Cannon Beach since 1944. This favorite is an institution for area residents and a wonderful find for visitors. It is a warm, casual restaurant, which we’ve recently embellished with a large outdoor fire-pit that overlooks the action on Main Street.

More than comfort food!

Simply outstanding service and incredibly delicious food. My wife and I aren’t the most seafood loving connoisseurs, and the Driftwood came through with some wonderful options for steak & chicken dishes that were incredible. The atmosphere is very comfortable & casual. The service is top-notch. We’ll happily be back anytime we’re visiting Cannon Beach!

Disappointed in the experience

We were hopeful as the Driftwood had some pretty good review. But we were disappointed. The dinning room was very loud, decor seemed outdated, and the food/drinks were mediocre. Hindsight I wish we would have sat out side. It seemed overpriced for the experience. Not a place I would go back to.

Great service

Stopped in for a late lunch. My waitress was friendly, fun, and fast. I was indecisive on what to eat and she helped me decide on the burger. It was the right decision—it was delicious. Also ordered a glass of the Malbec and it was very good and actually paired really well with the burger.

Good

Good food and friendly service. Seating can be a little cramped but not too bad. Rib Eye sandwich was flavorful as was the steak salad. Hummus was a little bland. Service was very attentive and friendly. Prices were average for cannon beach.

Cannon Beach Dinner choice

We had a delightful time here. Staff was attentive and welcoming. The restaurant is lively, but conversation was possible. Steaks were great. They make a nice martini! Please be sure to ask if there is a ‘special’
