Co-owners Jesse Hayes and Justin Doyle’s operation is one part small-batch coffee roaster and one part classic cocktail haven. And in between all of that drinkable goodness is a locally sourced menu of small plates and entrees.

Was a $42.00 Dinner for Two. Was It Worth It? - No, Read Why!
My wife and I ate her on a Saturday night around 5 PM. They have empty tables and a few people waiting for food to go. 3 Stars Atmosphere - More of a coffee shop feel than a restaurant. Price - is average. Most of the food is on the sides. ALor of french fries. Food - OK, nothing to write home about. 2 Stars Cleanliness - Sticky floors, torn furniture. Service - Super slow, but kind. Very uncomfortable to sit. The bench was small and the chairs were just metal. Won't be back.

A great first night experience
A great first experience for dinner has led us to repeat visits to Archive. We've enjoyed lunch with out of town visitors, we've been back as a couple and a family, and we use it for coffee and wi-fi during the day. Great food (yes, a smaller menu but things done well) and a friendly staff is what you can expect.Great Caesar salad, great soups, excellent mac and cheese make this a great spot downtown. And the free parking downtown is so nice. This place also convenient to the Visit Salem office if you are looking for other ideas for places to go and things to do.

Service with a smile
Friendly service, great food and intriguing drinks. Only negative is still eating outside (cold) but once that is changed, definitely top notch!
