Tillamook Creamery

No trip to Tillamook is complete without a stop at the creamery.

Sample their world-famous cheeses, and grab a scoop of the creamiest ice cream ever made. But don’t forget the Creamery also boasts a café that serves real food made with real ingredients – everything from artisan pizzas, gourmet mac n cheese, salads topped with fresh seafood, and of course Northwest brews and wine options for those 21 and over. There’s also a gift shop featuring Oregon-made foods, drinks, clothes, souvenirs and more.

Take a free, self-guided tour where you’ll get to see videos, historical displays and interactive kiosks about Tillamook. You’ll even get a behind the scenes look at the Tillamook cheesemaking room and packaging line.

Lots of plastic but reasonable food

The meal was fine and arrived quickly. Very disappointed that they aren’t more environmentally conscious particularly the use of plastic cups.

Factory is fine but food was ridiculous

We stopped here as we had been here 2 years ago, we were blown away at the 1hr+ wait to order food, they had 1 cashier and the place was packed, when we finally ordered we ordered 2 classic cheeseburgers for $15 each and 2 kids cheeseburgers for $8 each and a couple soft drinks. All told it took almost 1.5 hrs to get our food from getting in line and then waiting, was extremely disappointed when we got our burgers, they were the same size as the kids meal only difference was ours had lettuce, tomato and pickles that’s it. So they are charging $7 more for the lettuce, tomato and pickle. The line for ice cream was just as long and we were not the only ones noticing, the factory and cheese tasting are fun but don’t waste your money on the food it’s a rip off. You can get a seafood meal with ocean view for what you pay for food here, if you are going to charge $15 for the same as a kids meal then make it worth $15, we probably won’t eat food here again.

    A fun afternoon !

We really enjoyed our trip to the Tillamook Creamery. It was a great way to spend a few hours . . The self-guided tour of the cheese- making process was very interesting, and we all enjoyed the free samples provided ! We also did the “ice cream experience” which actually was a very good time, and we all felt it was worth the cost . We got to sample quite a bit of different flavors and we left feeling pretty satisfied/stuffed. Duncan was a fabulous guide, and he really made it a fun time for everyone. Would recommend budgeting ~3 hours which is perfect amount of time to do the tour, browse the gift shop, and then cap it off with the ice cream experience!
