An Evening with David Sedaris

David Sedaris, one of American’s pre-eminent humor writers, is coming to the Hult Center for the Performing Arts to bring his sardonic wit and social critiques to his audience. Sedaris is a master of satire who addresses the human condition through keen observation. His essay collections have brought him fame in the comedic circle and across the nation, most notably through works such as Naked (1997), (Holidays on Ice (1997), Me Talk Pretty One Day (2000), When You Are Engulfed in Flames (2008) and his latest collection, Theft By Finding (1977-2002), published in 2017. Much of his humor is autobiographical, concerning his family life and upbringing through his education, drug use, and life abroad.
