Eugene, Oregon, is an area full of things to do and see. Not only will you be racing out of Eugene Yacht Club, one of the top small boat sailboat racing destinations on the West Coast, you will have easy access to many of the Pacific Northwest’s top visitor destinations.
EYC has hosted several Day Sailer NACR’s through the years, but has also hosted Thistle Nationals several times, Lido Nationals, Santana 20 Nationals, and several others. It’s a great regatta experience—the socialization and facilities are ideal, and they have one of the top race committees in the country.
It’s a unique venue. It’s set on a park-like setting with camping available and several water and electric hook-ups for RVs and trailers. Tent camping is on soft grass. There are showers, boat hoists and ramps, kitchen facilities, barbeques, swimming, destination bird watching, and lots more. Once on the grounds, a racer need not leave.
