Choose your course to get your blood pumping in the winter air. The 5K is very challenging, from mile 1.3 to mile 1.9, the course goes straight up the mountain. The 50K is comprised of four loops, each gaining between 800 and 1000 feet of elevation and has a time limit of eight hours. The 25K is comprised of two loops, each gaining between 800 and 1000 feet of elevation. The 15K is comprised of one loop, climbing 900 feet of elevation. Base Loop 1 and Base Loop 2 will most likely be wet and muddy, but the rest of the courses are on well-maintained trails. Multiple aid stations will provide first aid, water, GU products and light snacks. The start and finish line is at the horse arena to the north of the North Trailhead, which is left after the bridge. The 50K starts at 8 a.m., and all other distances have staggered starts beginning at 9:30 a.m.
