Movies in the Park makes its triumphant return to the Little League field next to Imagination Station on Friday, June 26, courtesy of Troutdale Recreation, with a double feature that’s part nostalgia and part pixel-powered chaos.
Kicking things off at 7pm with 2015’s The Peanuts Movie – because watching Charlie Brown try (and fail) to kick a football is basically a rite of passage. Then at 8:30pm, settle in for the 2025 blockbuster A Minecraft Movie, where the world is blocky, the adventure is big, and a “Steve’s Lava Chicken” sing-a-long is likely in the cards.
Beyond the big screen, there is FREE popcorn and a lineup of food vendors so no one gets hangry. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic.
The viewing area is a fully shaded section of the ball field. Bring a blanket or low-back chairs for comfort. If you’ve got taller chairs, we ask that you set up toward the back so everyone can enjoy the show.
