About Kids on the Farm

Big Bug Adventure: A Kids Farm Experience This June!

Join Hoffman Farm Store on June 18th from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for a fun-filled, hands-on kids class all about the tiny (and not-so-tiny!) bugs that make life on the farm possible. From butterflies and bees to beetles, worms, and other fascinating critters, children will explore the busy world of farm bugs—and the important jobs they do every day.

Young explorers will set off on a bug scavenger hunt across the farm, searching for insects and other creatures in their natural habitats. Along the way, you’ll discover how bugs help plants grow, break down organic matter, protect crops, and keep the farm ecosystem thriving.

Back at the learning space, kids will get creative with a bug-inspired art project and dive into hands-on activities that bring the science of farm life to life in a playful, engaging way.

Perfect for curious kids who love to dig, explore, and discover, this class is all about getting outside, asking questions, and seeing the farm from a bug’s-eye view.

Come explore, create, and celebrate the incredible world of bugs with Hoffman Farm Store!
