WildCraft studio school from Portland is pleased to collaborate with Travel Southern Oregon Coast to celebrate the natural beauty and ecological wonders of this rugged and spectacularly scenic stretch of the Oregon Coast. WildCraft educators will lead 6 workshops on Sept 30th & Oct 1st, 2023 in Bandon, Port Orford, and Brookings, each focused on mycology, wild edibles, and the unique qualities of a specific micro-region. Plan a weekend getaway and join us for one or more of our Foraging the Southern Oregon Coast workshops! Immersive, inspiring, and hands-on, these expert-led workshops explore the breathtaking headlands where the lush forest meets the fury of the ocean, and the humid coastal air creates perfect conditions for fungi to thrive. Hunt for porcini, lobster, and chanterelle mushrooms while snacking on salal berries and spotting seals, sea lions, or maybe even a pod of Orcas!
Participants will also receive inspirational itineraries for all the other wonderful things to see, taste and do on the South Coast, plus great lodging tips. (Please note, class size is limited and anticipated to sell out quickly).
