About Summerfest

Enjoy Summerfest — a free community celebration marking the grand opening of Sharon Nesbit Heritage Park in Troutdale. Located along the banks of the Sandy River, this beautiful new park honors Troutdale’s history and opens new opportunities for recreation and connection to the river.

Come enjoy live performances, free treats, lawn games, and more as this special space is officially welcomed to the community. All activities are free and open to the public. Bring the whole family.

As things start to wind down on the riverfront, the festivities move down the road to the Troutdale Historical Society at 732 E Historic Columbia River Highway! The Barn Exhibit Hall and Harlow House Museum grounds will come alive with history from 12 to 6 p.m.

Celebrate Troutdale’s history and community spirit with live music, museum access, food, a yarn bomb installation, a gem mining sluice for children, reusable water balloons, a Troutdale Treasure Hunt, the official unveiling of the new Mershon Legacy Wing at the Barn Exhibit Hall, the opening of the new exhibit and gift shop Meger’s Trading Post.

Parking is available at the Gateway to the Gorge Visitor Center and behind the Gorge Outlets on NW 257th Way.
