Heritage Lights and Winter Artisan Market is a fun, FREE, family focused after hours event that takes place over the first three weekends in December. On Friday and Saturday nights, the lights come on at 5pm and then the magic begins!
In front of the museum enjoy the light show and music from the City of Pendleton Trees and grab a bite to eat at the food truck.
Inside the museum you will find an artisan market full of local vendors and a museum gift shop with great gift ideas.
Located in downtown Pendleton, Heritage Station Museum is owned and operated by the Umatilla County Historical Society. Experience history by stepping inside historic buildings from the area including a one-room schoolhouse, the Fix family cabin, and the historic 1909 Pendleton train depot. The newest exhibit “Umatilla Gold” tells the story of wheat, from its early beginnings to how local farmers run their farms today. Climb aboard a real Union Pacific caboose and explore the exhibit galleries where you will find exhibits on military, music, the Oregon Trail, historic figures of the area, and much more.
Family events are held once per month – please check social media calendar for upcoming events.
