Walk. Hike. March. Through History

In celebration of Black History Month, Love is King is hosting an act of solidarity, encouraging everyone in the local community to come out and join to walk, hike, and march across the St. John’s Bridge to honor the spirit, work, and words of Martin Luther King Jr. in a Selma Bridge Reenactment.

The event begins promptly at 9 a.m. with a short presentation on the civil rights movement, Bloody Sunday, and the march of Martin Luther King Jr. from Selma to Montgomery, crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

Speakers and artists include:

Chad Brown, James Edward Mills, Mic Crenshaw, Pastor Craig Brown, the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Gospel Choir and Little Blue.
