Celebrate local Scandinavian heritage with food, crafts and entertainment at Junction City’s 60th Scandinavian Festival. Three stages of entertainment are filled with choral and instrumental groups, folk dancers and informational presentations. Find unusual handicrafts of Scandinavian culture such as Hardanger Embroidery, bobbin lace and Rosemaling. Vendors sell homemade paintings, woodcrafts, jewelry and more. Get classic fair food such as caramel corn and cotton candy, but be sure not to miss the Danish favorite, aebleskivers.
Also be sure to check out the Scandia Run 10K and 5K Run/Walk on Saturday morning. Junction City historical museums The Dr. Norman L. Lee House Museum and The Mary E.
