Diane Arbus (a famous photographer) was assigned to photograph seventy-year old actress Mae West in 1964. What transpired over a two-day photo shoot is now brought to the stage by two of Portland’s finest actresses: Emily Sahler as Mae and Tasha Danner as Diane Arbus.
This photo session is legendary, driven by the will of two very strong women and by what each wants to achieve.
Oh, and Mae has a special secret which may surprise not only Diane but the whole audience once it’s revealed. Based on a true story.
