The Joriad North American Truffle Dog Championship

Experience some of the world’s most talented truffle dogs compete in the 5th annual Joriad Truffle Dog Championship. The Joriad begins with a series of qualifying spectator events where dogs race to find hidden truffle-scented targets with a human partner. Finalists are announced at the end of the morning’s qualifying events. A championship with the finalists will take place in the afternoon in the Joriad Field Trial. Because truffle hunting in the field does not lend itself to spectator participation, this afternoon event is not open to the public. All participants and those who attended the morning round are invited to attend the Awards Ceremony and Parade of Dogs in the evening at Hotel Eugene. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
