Visitors are invited to step inside a brand-new, log cabin–style 3,500-square-foot museum during a special grand opening celebration on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
The Crown Point Country Museum showcases the rich history of this corner of the Columbia River Gorge, featuring exhibits on geological treasures, Indigenous peoples, pioneer families, and a rockhounding memorial wall honoring the region’s deep connection to geology and discovery.
The celebration begins with an Opening Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m. followed by live music, door prizes, refreshments, and an opportunity to explore the museum’s gift shop.
Community members and visitors alike are encouraged to attend and experience this new cultural destination in the Gorge.
