Timothy Lake Gravel Ride – a Cascading Rivers Ride

A challenging one day (your choice of a 32, 41 or 93 mile) routes to one of Oregon’s most popular mountain lakes along the nationally designated wild and scenic Clackamas and Oak Grove Fork rivers. You may choose to begin in Estacada or after checking in drive to Ripplebrook and begin your ride there. Following the scenic bikeway to Ripplebrook store the cyclist continues East 15 miles on Forest Road 57 that is mostly gravel along one of the Cascades most pristine streams with elevation gain of about 2,800 feet. At the picnic area (lunch stop) you may choose to return to Ripplebrook, or ride the 11 mile Timothy lake scenic trail around the lake and cruise back to Ripplebrook and Estacada where a meal with beverage will be waiting.
